Warning! - Escape from the jail
Date Completed: Aug - 2007
This is admittedly a bit of a copy of Emanuele Feronato’s, nonetheless I have created my own graphics and coded it into a short game. This current version has none of the A.I that Emanuele talks about in his tutorials. The collision detection in this has been fine tuned unlike some other code samples available on the net. It’s called Warning because it can get a bit frustrating, sorry…

Swipe
Date Completed: May - 2007
I had made this in VB.NET a while back, but it resurfaced and when I was learning to use Flash made this as an example of a full game. I suppose its good in a way - it does actually have an end to it!

GTA Style game engine - DEMO
Date Completed: Oct - 2006
I took the initial ideas and basically spent a long time drawing a big detailed map, almost resembling a city. Then with about 4 maybe 5 layers I put this in the Flash game, which is a bit heavy (like putting to much in the washing machine) so sorry if this is a bit slugish.

GTA Style game engine - Initial Ideas
Date Completed: Sep - 2006
You can probably guess why I chose to try and replicate a version of the infamous 1997/1998 classic Grand Theft Auto - because I absolutely loved it! I may have spent hours and hours playing this as a kid but never realised that I'd have the knowledge and inclination to build a mockup of it - in FLASH! This version is literally an experiment of how to manoevre the car.
